Taking a dive.

The weather wasn't too bad for this tour but we did see some rain in the middle of the day. We had a fruitless search for Otter but the WT Eagle sighting made up for that!
Another check for the Otters was more productive as we found two of them just as the weather was closing in. I caught this one just as it was taking a dive.
We managed to get the Golden Eagle chick on the nest despite the low cloud but there was no sign of the adult birds. A close Common Seal was nice to see before we viewed the main colony.
Tree Pipit and Whinchat were seen well but the Adder put on the best performance.
We didn't have any luck with Mountain Hare but there were plenty of Redshank and Lapwing flying about.
The RB Merganser family were on display with the mother having a good wash before shaking the excess water off...
...while the youngsters practiced their diving skills.
