...the beastie boys arrived. Four 2 year old WT Eagles decided to call in and put on a show. They didn't cause that much of a stir with the usual array of gulls and waders out here, in fact there were Redshank wandering around in the background while the birds were messing around! The Hooded Crows came in to pull a few tails and the eagles jostled for position....
They picked up mussels and dropped them, pulled at the seaweed, had a bath and strutted their funky stuff... ...check out that swagger!!! Just a bunch of bored youngsters looking for something to do! Ah well back to work.

Wow lucky you what a sight now all your guests will expect to see this type of thing,always amusing to see tail pulling by Hoodies which we don't get down south and also Ravens doing it
In the last photo he almost looks like a gorilla in an eagle suit the way he is striding out. ;-) Great behavior photos.
Great sightings of the eagles at the moment - plenty about on the Island - I had one of our regulars over the garden this morning - the 4 youngsters you saw must have looked like a bunch of hoodies looking for trouble
