Wild About Mull
Saturday, 5 October 2013
I've nearly caught up with the posts now so here are the photos from the first couple of days in October. The first tour was rubbish for photos so a fuzzy Buzzard (a dirty sensor too)...
...and a splendid Goldfinch were the best performers.
Better light the next day made for a few more photos and first on the list were a couple of WT Eagle...
...closely followed by a superb Otter sighting.
Plenty of cleaning required!
The first day we struggled to get Golden Eagle because of low cloud and rain but we did get one eventually, the second day we came up trumps.
The Pink-footed Goose is still present and it was a lifer for an American guest.
Needless to say there were plenty of common birds to look at too including Dunlin, Skylark, Wheatear, Linnet and Curlew.
