Beauty!

August looks like it's going to be another month of good weather - this is definitely the place to be. The month got off to a good start with some stunning views of WT Eagle that was keen to strike a pose.
Two Golden Eagles at close quarters were well appreciated before we viewed the Adders.
With some young children on board we spent a bit of time on the beach. The main targets were Jellyfish and Crabs but we boosted that with a few Gannets, RT Diver, Guillemot and five Basking Shark. We finished the day off with a brief view of a SE Owl and a couple of Mountain Hare.
I had to have a run out to retrieve the camera trap and change it's location - update sometime soon. Cracking views of young Bullfinches, two fresh looking spotty Robins, Willow Warblers in song and a fly catching Common Whitethroat.
On the way to relocate the camera I came across an obliging Hen Harrier - what a beauty!

A great day there Brian, and I see the otter numbers are coming back in to normal figures. Great birds down in east anglia, and my year total now is 204. Speak to you soon. Ben Moyes.

Cheers, Ben. Nothing ever stays the same. We could do with some of your birds up here!
